The Pure family from the German Taiwanese Thermaltake includes exclusively replaceable case fans designed for additional cooling of computer hardware. Such products have several different areas of application. Perhaps they are especially valuable for overclockers, for whom every extra degree Celsius can become an obstacle to the desired frequency.
Owners of quieter cases can use additional fans to reduce the load on existing fans. Additionally, additional fans can be useful for those who simply want to improve the overall cooling quality of their computer. They help distribute airflow evenly within the chassis, preventing hot spots and ensuring optimal operating conditions for all components.
The Pure series range equally includes case fans with a diameter of 120, 140 and, in rare cases, 200 millimeters. Most options are broken down into sets of two or three fans. All of them support PWM rotation speed control, the range is usually from 500 to 1500 rpm. A relatively quiet and durable hydrodynamic bearing is usually used as the basis.
Many models in the Thermaltake Pure series have different numbers of blades and impeller shapes. Some advanced options, like the Pure Duo, feature dual fans that the manufacturer claims create more powerful airflow for more efficient cooling while keeping noise levels to a minimum. Visual differences, as a rule, lie in the color design of the blades and frame, as well as in the implementation of the backlight: simpler models use standard RGB illumination, while higher-ranking cooling systems use ARGB illumination with support for all popular synchronization systems.
