ARGB cooling systems

ARGB

— the most advanced modern type of multi-colour backlighting based on three basic colours — red, green and blue (Red, Green, Blue — hence the "RGB" in the name).

ARGB differs from the “ordinary” RGB backlight (see the relevant paragraph) in more extensive functionality. The brightness of individual LEDs in such systems can be smoothly and fairly accurately adjusted, so that the hue of the glow can be practically any (from those that are physically possible to implement by shifting the three basic colours). At the same time, such features are not cheap, and therefore ARGB backlighting is found mainly in fairly advanced models of cooling systems. Also note that it is often supplemented by the possibility of synchronization (see "Backlight"), although the presence of such functionality should still be specified separately.
