This allows not only to effectively reduce friction, but also to reduce the noise level to almost zero. However hydrodynamic devices are somewhat more expensive than more traditional plain and rolling bearings — however, in most cases, this disadvantage is more than offset by the advantages, and in advanced cooling modules, the difference in price is completely invisible compared to the cost of the entire system.
