The DK family from the Chinese brand ID-COOLING produces exclusively inexpensive low-profile coolers for cooling Mainstream-class processors from Intel and AMD with a maximum TDP of no more than 95 W. Such coolers, costing $10-15, are often chosen as an economical replacement for standard boxed coolers, offering better cooling or lower noise levels.

They are ideal for budget builds, systems that do not require high-performance cooling, or as an inexpensive solution to replace a damaged cooler. These coolers provide an affordable option to meet your basic cooling needs without breaking the bank. Also, such a low-profile cooler can solve problems with cooling the processor inside a compact Cube Case or Desktop case.

A typical fan from the ID-COOLING DK line is a low profile CO, with a height of 23 to 65 mm. The design in all cases is classic - a passive metal radiator with a contact sole is attached to the processor, and an active fan blows on top of it, which in most cases supports PWM control of rotation speeds in order to achieve an optimal ratio between heating and noise level.

A separate plus is that most models are multi-platform. Coolers released before 2022, as a rule, support all current sockets of that time (AMD AM2/AM3/FM1/FM2, AM4 or Intel 1150, 1155/1156, 1151/1151 v2, 1200). More current modifications of DK are equipped with mounts for more modern Intel LGA 1700 and AMD AM5 platforms. In models with the RGB and Rainbow prefixes, light elements are built into the blades.
