Despite the current popularity of the SteelSeries Rival lines, it is the Sensei mice that occupy a special place in the history of this Danish brand. The first Sensei manipulator with its perfect click, honed shape and symmetrical design unusual for that time became a kind of legend. It is not for nothing that eminent esports players from the Fnatic, SK, EG, Na'VI, EHOME teams took part in the development. Since then, several modifications of the original model have entered the market, which have retained the original features of the Sensei.
As the basis of the Sensei model, they use TrueMove branded sensors with a maximum acceleration of 50 G and sensitivity up to 18,000 DPI. Mechanical switches have a maximum life of up to 60 million clicks. The shape of these manipulators is made so that players with different types of grip feel as comfortable as possible. The weight of Sensei mice ranges around 90 grams, which, according to many players, is the optimal weight. As a coating, a special softtouch material with a miniature texture is used, which lies pleasantly in the hand and at the same time provides a reliable grip.
For several years, the most popular model in this line has been the Sensei Ten manipulator with the TrueMove Pro optical sensor. It has a sensitivity of 50 G (with a maximum acceleration of 11.43 m/s) and, according to the company's engineers, the reaction speed of the capabilities of this sensor exceeds human physiology. Another unusual feature of the Sensei Ten is the symmetrical side panels with additional buttons. If in ordinary mice the buttons are placed on the left side directly under the thumb of the right hand, Sensei Ten has such panels located on both sides. That is, it is in all respects a two-handed/symmetrical model that does not limit the ability to control with the left hand in any way.
