Wi-Fi routers
Router
— devices known to many as the most popular means of wireless Internet access. However, the use of such equipment is not limited to this — it can also be used to create local networks and for some other, more specific purposes. On the technical side, a router is an access point to a wireless network that supports NAT mode. The essence of this mode is that when working with an external network (for example, the Internet), all IP addresses of devices connected to the router are replaced with one common IP address, and it is this address that is broadcast "out" (and the distribution of incoming traffic to specific devices happens at the router level). The most popular way to use NAT is to connect several user devices to the Internet through one provider account: without this mode, each device would have to have a separate “account”, and with a single IP address, the number of simultaneously connected users is limited only by the capabilities of the router.
