USB 3.0 Wi-Fi adapters
USB 3.2 gen1
— USB connection version 3.2 gen1.All USB adapters are external, they are designed for external PC connectors. This connection method will be especially convenient in cases where disassembling the case is undesirable or impossible (for example, if the PC is still under warranty or if we are talking about a monoblock), or if the adapter has to be reconnected often (for example, if access to Wi-Fi is periodically needed different computers in the same office). Specifically, USB 3.2 gen1 (formerly known as USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 gen1) is the successor to USB 2.0 and supports higher data transfers (up to 4.8Gbps) and increased power. However, for Wi-Fi adapters, these advantages are not of fundamental importance, so there are few models with USB 3.1 gen1 nowadays (although this version of USB is the most popular in modern PCs and laptops).
Also note that adapters with this connection are usually compatible with USB 2.0 connectors; only for the most advanced models, before such a connection, it is worth clarifying whether there is enough power for normal operation.
