The AX6000 class model is from the relatively affordable line of Asus TUF Gaming routers. The device can operate with Wi-Fi 6, supports Mesh connection using Asus AiMesh technology, and the Link Aggregation feature for Ethernet port combination. For wired connection to a cable network, there is a WAN-port with a bandwidth of 2.5 Gbps. The model also features five LAN ports, one of which supports up to 2.5 Gbps, while the remaining four provide data exchange speeds of up to 1 Gbps.
In the 2.4 GHz frequency range, the Asus TUF Gaming AX6000 can reach up to 1148 Mbps, and at 5 GHz, it can go up to 4804 Mbps, thanks to technologies like OFDMA, BSS, and MU-MIMO 4x4, as well as a channel width of 160 MHz. For precise signal transmission to client devices, the model uses Beamforming technology. Other important features include the Game Accelerator function, offering a simplified alternative for prioritizing QoS, a Mobile Gaming Mode to speed up game traffic from mobile devices, and a VPN Fusion mode, allowing VPN connections for different devices simultaneously. Lastly, the model includes the AiProtection Pro system for online threat protection.

After 3 months, the LAN port burned out. Used for a gaming PC at speeds up to 500 Mbps. This is already the second Asus router where the LAN burns out.
