A one-of-a-kind camera with a full-frame sensor and, not least, a 35mm f/2.0 non-replaceable prime lens. The model borrowed the image sensor from the flagship Sony A7r II mirrorless camera, and it “peeped” from it a hybrid autofocus system consisting of 399 phase points and 25 contrast-type points. A retractable OLED viewfinder is hidden in the camera body (“leaves” at the touch of a button).

It is also proposed to compose the frame on a 3-inch screen on a swivel hinge. Video shooting on the Sony RX1R II is possible in the maximum resolution of FullHD — 1920x1080 pixels at 60 fps. In the reportage genre of photography, a compact camera develops a shooting rate of up to 5 fps. For remote control from a smartphone, a Wi-Fi module and an NFC are provided on board the camera. A single charge of the NP-BX1 battery can take over 220 shots. The model was assembled in an aluminium alloy case with dimensions of 113x65x72 mm and a weight of 507 g. A full-frame camera with non-replaceable lenses is fabulously expensive.
