HDR shooting
— the ability for the camera to take high dynamic range (HDR) shots. This feature is useful primarily for shooting high-contrast scenes with large differences in illumination — for example, a landscape against a sunset. Expanding the dynamic range allows you to “brighten” too dark areas and “shade” too light areas, thus providing high-quality detail throughout the image. In addition, HDR can create a rather original colour scheme in the picture, due to which it is often used as an artistic technique. On the technical side, this feature is implemented due to the fact that the camera takes several pictures with different exposure settings, and then automatically combines them into one.
