Refrigerators with two cooling circuits

— the refrigeration circuit is a separate heat removal system connected to the compressor and regulated separately from other such systems. One such circuit can serve both one chamber and several at once; in the second case, the chambers may have different temperature conditions. However, the intensity adjustment turns out to be common: when the circuit settings are changed, the cooling power increases or decreases in all chambers simultaneously. As for 2 cooling circuits, this feature can be found mainly in refrigerators with 2 or more chambers. The meaning of such a design is described above: it allows you to independently adjust the intensity of operation of individual circuits and, accordingly, the operating mode of the corresponding chambers. Of course, if there are more than two chambers, then one of the circuits will inevitably work for two or even three compartments. But even this format of work provides more customization options than one common circuit for the entire space of the refrigerator. The reverse side of these advantages is the complexity of the design and the increase in the price of the unit.
Note that there are also single-chamber refrigerators for 2 circuits — these are separate advanced models, which provide separate temperature control in different areas of the main compartment. And in some advanced models there may be 3 circuits. However, this is a rather rare case.
It is also worth mentioning that 2 or more cooling circuits do not necessarily mean the presence of 2 compressors (see the relevant paragraph). But in two-compressor units, by definition, there are several circuits (at least two, and sometimes more).
