TFT display

In this case, TFT means a colour screen that can display not only text characters but also pictures (unlike a simpler LED). And in some models, such a screen is even made touch-sensitive and is actually a tablet built into the door with all the relevant features: Internet connection, additional programs, the ability to integrate into the smart home system, etc. Anyway, the TFT display provides more detailed information, and in general, has more features than LED. At the same time, it makes sense to use such displays only in high-end refrigerators with an abundance of additional functions — a relatively simple unit simply does not need an advanced (and, accordingly, expensive) screen.
