Deodorizer

— a device for neutralizing foreign odours in the refrigerator compartment. The source of such odours can be both spoiled contents and certain products — for example, smoked fish; and some products, in turn, tend to absorb strong flavours, which is not always desirable. A deodorizer, on the other hand, prevents such troubles by purifying the air inside the refrigerator and preventing extraneous odours from being absorbed “where they shouldn’t be.”
