Three-chamber refrigerators

— refrigerators from this category necessarily have a traditional refrigerator and freezer; but the function of the third chamber may be different, depending on the model. The most widely used models are those with a separate fresh zone (see "Features"), the so-called "zero chamber"; however, there are other, more rare and specific options — for example, a built-in wine cabinet (see ibid.).

Note that the presence of a full-fledged third chamber requires a significant increase in size. Therefore, most three-chamber refrigerators are made in the French Door or Side-by-Side format (see "Product type"); there are fewer classic models in this category, and they differ either in increased dimensions or in reduced capacity of traditional chambers (refrigerator and freezer).
