I shouldn't have looked at the reviews on YouTube about this phone. It works and thanks for that From the very beginning it lags and consumes a lot of charge. Personally, the one ui shell itself seems inconvenient to me, but this is individual. Everywhere I go, there are brakes everywhere, even on a regular alarm clock. He constantly needs to exit the application when I turn on Wi-Fi or Bluetooth in order to show some kind of pop-up menu. Because of this, it lags, the application may crash, but the Internet will connect, because without this window it is impossible to do this automatically. When you exit an application and click on another one, the last closed one opens, which also infuriates. The notification window is also not a luxury. Samsung Pay works very slowly and it becomes awkward when you open the application using quick gestures, and it loads for 10-15 seconds, and the queue is waiting for you. And most importantly: it is not productive even for basic things. He can barely drag the system, let alone YouTube, VK, etc. |
The main drawback is that on some phones, over time, the battery begins to swell, which subsequently pulls out the cable running on top of it from the connector. Next, breakdown, repair. The repair is extremely complex, which may lead to another repair. For example, my power controller was set on fire and I had to repair it again. There is no guarantee that the soldering will last long -Cute display -Pleasant design -More or less, not bad cameras -Average performance -The back cover instantly gets covered with fingerprints -Performance could be better |
The phone is not worth that kind of money, for 20k I have seen many powerful phones that cost even less but were better. For that kind of money they could have installed a more powerful CPU. The camera is good but only records 30fps. Gorilla Glass turned out to be not so durable! After carrying it in my pocket for 2 hours (with coins), the screen is scratched (thank God at least the scratches are not visible (unless you look closely)). The battery is normal, I don’t know why people are complaining about it. The fingerprint works quite well; I don’t use the face scanner because it takes a long time to work. It seems to me that for the most part the phone costs 14-15 thousand and the rest is an overpayment after all, SAMSUNG after all. Camera, imprint in the screen, SUPER AMOLED screen, front camera records in 4K. Poor performance, Gorilla glass, no water protection P.S - After updating OS from Android 10 to Android 11, the phone started to lag quite a bit. |

Design
Series A from Samsung is not in vain popular with buyers, as it offers not too expensive devices at affordable prices. And the Galaxy A51 is no exception. When you look at it, the design immediately catches your eye, or rather, the unusual pattern of the back panel. It is divided by diagonal lines into several zones, each of which has its own shade. Both the frame and the lid are made of plastic, but the latter imitates glass quite well, so the handset does not look cheap. And the smartphone itself is quite comfortable in the hand, including due to its small thickness (7.9 mm) and weight (172 g).
Almost the entire front panel (87%) is occupied by a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display, surrounded by thin bezels, with a neat round cutout for the front camera. It has excellent colour reproduction with rich colours, so the model gets a solid five for the screen. What can not be said about the fingerprint scanner. It is hidden under the display, like most more expensive phones, but it works much slower than classic capacitive scanners. In addition, it is quite fastidious: in the cold, with wet hands and in a hurry, when the finger is not placed strictly along the contour, the sensor may not immediately unlock the device.
Middle level
Inside, a proprietary Exynos 9611 processor is installed, which replaced the Exynos 9610, but has not received any major improvements. Its performance leaves much to be desired: on average, it is enough for everyday work, but with heavier tasks and modern games it can be a problem. Although it is unlikely that at such a price one should hope for some kind of superpowers. This also applies to the camera: the main one consists of four modules (48 MP + 12 MP "wide" with a viewing angle of 123 degrees + 5 MP macro lens + 5 MP depth sensor). She does not have enough stars from the sky, but she is quite capable of capturing some pleasant moment for the family archive. It is complemented by a 32-megapixel front camera, which takes good selfies for the social media feed. By the way, the sensors of the main camera are located in the form of the letter L in a rectangular block, and this design looks quite interesting. Although this is, of course, a matter of taste and preference.
In terms of battery life, nothing outstanding either: a 4000 mAh battery and 15 W charging. With normal use, one charge should last for a day and a half. But other useful little things cannot but rejoice: NFC, 3.5 headphone jack, a tray for two SIM cards and a microSD memory card at the same time, and a headset in the kit (albeit of low quality).
