MSI Z790 PROJECT ZERO

An elite class motherboard from MSI with advanced overclocking capabilities, support for Hi-End components and a unique Project Zero reverse fastening system. Under the hood of the MSI Z790 PROJECT ZERO is the advanced Intel Z790 chipset, providing support for Intel hybrid processors from the Alder Lake, Raptor Lake and Raptor Lake Refresh series. The board is optimized for working with DDR5 RAM and M.2 SSD drives that use the modern PCI-E interface. For M.2 drives, there are five ports with different PCI-Express settings (1×5.0 and 4×4.0), as well as six SATA 3 ports for connecting traditional HDDs and SSDs.

The maximum amount of RAM can be 192 GB, and the maximum RAM frequency can reach 7200 MHz. Cooling is implemented using enlarged radiators, multiple heat pipes and additional thermal pads. For efficient power supply of the processor even with strong overclocking, the board is equipped with an advanced 21-phase power converter. Plus, out of the box, the board is equipped with a modern Intel network controller with a 2.5-gigabit input port and support for Wi-Fi 7 wireless networks. The Realtek ALC897 audio chip is responsible for sound output.
