Buses PCIe 4.0. Use of durable 176-layer flash memory.

The solid-state drive manufactured by Kingston is a high-performance advanced-level solution. Within the product family, models are offered for PCs and laptops with a capacity ranging from 512 to 4100 GB. This SSD is capable of capturing the interest of demanding users, including gamers and professionals involved in creating and processing high-quality content. The drive is in the M.2 2280 form factor, allowing installation even in thin laptops.

The high performance of the Kingston KC3000 SKC3000S/1024G 1.02 TB SSD is ensured by the PCIe 4.0 4x NVMe interface, with read and write speeds reaching up to 7000 MB/s and 6000 MB/s respectively. Maintaining high data exchange speeds without overheating is primarily the responsibility of the low-profile heat spreader. Hidden beneath it is the model's hardware with fast 3D TLC NAND flash memory and the Phison E18 controller. Among other advantages, these components stand out for their high level of reliability. The manufacturer's warranty is 5 years, and the guaranteed write endurance (TBW) reaches 800 TB, which significantly exceeds the market average.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Kingston KC3000 SSD series is highly praised for its exceptional speed and reliability, making it a popular choice among users. Many reviews highlight its fast read/write speeds, especially when connected via PCIe 4.0, which significantly enhances performance for gaming and demanding applications. Users appreciate the 5-year warranty, adding confidence in its durability. While some users experienced issues with the 4TB version, such as overheating, the overall feedback is positive, with many recommending the 1TB and 2TB versions for their balance of price and quality. Installation is generally straightforward, though some users noted the need for an M.2 slot or adapter. The SSD's compact design and effective cooling are also commended, ensuring stable performance even under heavy loads. Overall, the Kingston KC3000 is a reliable and high-performing SSD suitable for both system drives and extensive gaming setups.

wonderful model, really honored

2 months in use. Mounting the disk to the board was not difficult, I installed win 11 on it, and I also run a few games from it. Well, all programs are installed here too. Windows starts in about 6 seconds, game loading is very fast, the browser flies.
Kingston - reliable Very fast

Installed in PC with Z690 Prime board. Praque is wonderful. Dobre scho radiator on the board, more disk warms up kinder. In the middle ten, 50 degrees, but when recording great communications of information, I can go to throttling.
Reading speed, TLC memory, Dramovsky cache.
Warm up kinder, I won’t put everything in the laptop as soon as possible

IMHO, Kingston has proven itself as a reliable memory manufacturer.

Excellent SSD 1 TB Kingston KC3000. I've been using it for the second year since I upgraded my PC to MSI Z790. It works fast, neither the motherboard nor the SSD has ever glitched. (Unlike the 500 GB Samsung on my previous PC, which didn't last even half a year, but the official Samsung service center then called the numerous disk failures non-warranty. Had to avoid dealing with this brand anymore). But Kingston is stable!
High operating speed, full use of the system bus. High reliability (in addition to the SSD, I also use several flash drives from Kingston — I haven't noticed any failures with them either). I recommend it to everyone.
In 2026, the price almost doubled, which does not correspond to the value of a regular drive that has been developed and produced for several years. The reasons are known — in the insatiable consumption of memory. We will likely be periodically haunted by waves of greed (such as mining, AI, or they will come up with another reason for shortage and price increases).

New bestseller

As you have heard from us more than once, the American brand Kingston, which is one of the largest players in the memory market, somehow slept through the boom in solid state drives. However, the well-equipped, fast, and relatively inexpensive M.2 SSDs from the Consumer and KS lines helped them get back into the big game. And it is the KC series models that are one of the most popular options for building a gaming PC in 2023. For a gaming PC of an average or near-top level, we would choose a compact M.2 SSD from the Kingston KC3000 series with a capacity of at least 1 TB.

PCIe 4.0 bus

The key feature of Kingston KC3000 is the integration of the fourth generation PCIe system interface. It has an impressive storage capacity of 1002 GB, its maximum rated write speed is 6000 MB/s, and the read speed can reach 7000 MB/s. The maximum speed of random reading and writing of 4K blocks reaches an impressive figure of 1 million operations per second. The guaranteed write resource is an impressive 800 TB. The icing on the cake is Micron's 176-layer flash memory, although 96-layer memory is the norm even for more expensive devices. As you can see, the passport characteristics of the KC3000 are impressive, it remains to check the drive in action.

Phison E18 Master Controller

As a control controller, Kingston engineers used the well-recommended Phison E18 chip, and to increase stability, the memory modules were covered with a low-profile black heatsink. In tests for linear reading and writing large files, the drive showed excellent results with a minimum of drawdowns and low controller heating. In PCMark 8, which simulates the work of real applications, the newcomer demonstrates a very significant performance - throughput has reached almost 965 MB / s. But when working with large arrays of small files for a long time, IOPS indicators go down, and the controller heats up to 80 ° C. This makes it not the best choice for working with 3D graphics and 4K video content, which requires constant copying and burning of heavy source files.
