A family of 4-core processors based on the 6th generation Intel Core microarchitecture with support for Intel Hyper-Threading Technology (HT). This technology allows each physical core to process two threads of computation, which significantly increases the performance of tasks optimized for multithreading. Given the ubiquity of parallel algorithms, these models are an excellent choice for a high performance general purpose home PC or powerful gaming station.
Due to its high performance in rendering tasks, high-resolution video encoding, processing / encryption of large data sets, as well as in engineering computer-aided design systems, Intel Core i7 Skylake processors will be a good choice for entry-level and mid-level workstations. Models of this family are equipped with an LGA1151 processor socket and have a high degree of compatibility with a wide range of motherboards available.
They support DDR4-2133 and DDR3-1600 memory. Moreover, the maximum possible volume of DDR4 memory modules in a 4-slot configuration can reach 64 GB. The processors of the line are equipped with an integrated video core Intel HD Graphics 530, which successfully handles with the processing of multimedia content of the Ultra HD standard and is compatible with DirectX12/OpenGL 4.4. Thanks to the technological process with 14 nm standards, they show high energy efficiency.

I don't even know what to nitpick about here. Unless with the release of the 10th generation, these have become unnecessary. Perhaps only for assembling a used build. Other than that, I'm very satisfied with the processor. It’s what I expected, even more. I don't know what they're talking about with those 90 degrees after a year. There's nothing like that, the processor works 10-12 hours a day in programs, 3-4 of those hours in games. And it's been like this for 4 years. There’s been nothing close to 90 degrees.
