A family of affordable entry-level dual-core processors from the Intel Pentium Alder Lake family (12th generation, 10 nm). In the hierarchy of Intel processors, these models are located between the ultra-budget Celeron CPUs and the pumped-up Core i3 series chips, which are not much inferior to the Core i5 models of two years ago. Created with an eye on the assembly of inexpensive office systems for audio and video communications, working with documents and presentations, etc. They show a decent level of performance when solving casual problems, but they are not able to perform some resource-demanding core tasks. Thanks to the presence of an integrated video core, they allow you to save on the purchase of a discrete video card. Low heat dissipation (46 W at peak load) also saves on the cool...ing system. All models of the Pentium Alder Lake family have two performance-class cores with a fixed clock frequency of 3.7 GHz and are able to simultaneously execute multiple instructions, processing parallel data streams (Hyper Threading technology). Supports work with both conventional DDR4 RAM with a maximum frequency of 3200 MHz, and with DDR5 class memory, the maximum frequency of which can reach 4800 MHz. The maximum possible amount of installed RAM is 128 GB. Any inexpensive motherboard with an Intel LGA 1700 processor socket and basic system logic a la H610 is suitable for installing the processor.
