Model overview based on user reviews
The Intel Core i3 Sandy Bridge processor is a solid choice for users seeking a balance between performance and affordability. It features an integrated memory and graphics controller, supporting dual-channel mode up to 16 GB DDR3 with frequencies up to 1333 MHz. The processor operates quietly and maintains reasonable temperatures, especially with a tower cooler. Although it lacks Intel Turbo Boost technology, it still offers decent performance for everyday tasks and light gaming, with some users noting it can handle games at medium to high settings. While it may not be the latest technology, it remains a reliable option for those on a budget, though the included cooler might need an upgrade for overclocking. Overall, it's a great processor for work and casual use, but those seeking more power might consider upgrading to an i5 or i7 in the future.

I was thinking of getting a Core i5 but decided to go for the i3 instead. A friend of mine upgraded his and was very pleased, saying his computer runs super fast now. So I decided to take his advice and got one too. Since I was low on funds, I chose the cheapest option with 3.06 GHz. I am very satisfied with the purchase. The card has 512 MB. I don't play games much, only NFS and NBA. I haven't seen CPU loads exceed 85 percent. I work a lot on the computer and haven't noticed any freezing throughout the day. nimble, CPU loads haven't exceeded 85 percent, I've been working all day on the computer with no freezes. It can be overclocked normally. not found |
Better to get 4 cores for this money. Consumes little energy. He only runs 64-bit programs, and the old software is converted with lags. Hyper-threading accelerates only if one special program is running. And it will last only 3 years due to the thin process technology. The service life has decreased, but the price has not. |
I bought it because my computer became a dust collector with our progress. Since I didn't have much money, I decided to choose this processor because it's quite powerful and the price is acceptable. A plus is that it has a built-in memory controller and a graphics core. Since I built the computer more for work than for games, the working speed suits me just fine. I haven't tried overclocking it as it's enough for now. But if you plan to overclock, the cooler that comes with it should definitely be replaced as it is a bit weak. there is a standard "box" cooling system E41997-002, sufficient for regular use, quiet in operation. Built-in memory controller, can be used in dual-channel mode up to 16 GB DDR3 with frequencies up to 1333 MHz. Integrated graphics core. lack of support for Intel Turbo Boost technology, a rather weak cooler included for such a powerful processor. |
