The camera is assigned the role of the most affordable solution in the lineup of the Japanese brand with proprietary autofocus technology Dual Pixel CMOS AF.

The cropped Canon EOS 800D kit 18-55 sensor is inherited from previous generations, but the updated DIGIC 7 image processor has raised its ISO sensitivity to new heights (100-25600 ISO or up to 51200 in extended mode).
