I can’t recommend this lens for a professional... the width of the viewing angle and for casual photos, like a tourist, the lens gets the highest score. FOR several years I tested this lens on a Canon 5D, and before it, in turn, on a Canon 300D. I was always pleased with the quality of the photos, about the same as the f4s in the L series. And in my opinion, photographic portraits and landscapes turn out best because of the good depth of field. For me, the best zoom lenses there are, with lightning fast focusing.
