The cooling system is a single massive l-shaped aluminium water block with a copper core, which, due to its size, can also work in passive mode - like a regular radiator.
One of the flagship premium overclocker motherboards of 2020 based on the top Intel Z490 chipset. It is the top model in the Asus ROG line of high-performance motherboards with an LGA1200 processor socket. Fully supports any 10th generation Intel Core i9/i7/i5/i3/Pentium/Celeron processors with Comet Lake microarchitecture. It features a pre-installed water block for cooling the 16-phase (14 + 2) power subsystem and the presence of a special ASUS PRO Clock II controller (a separate BCLK base frequency generator for access to the full frequency range during overclocking).
The Asus ROG MAXIMUS XII FORMULA motherboard is designed for enthusiasts of conventional and extreme overclocking using water cooling systems. Suitable for assembling high-performance gaming configurations of premium class. It can become an excellent basis for building multiGPU systems using AMD CrossFire and Nvidia SLI technologies. Equipped with two ultra-performance network controllers Intel I225-V (up to 2.5 Gbps) and 10Gb Ethernet Marvell AQtion AQC107 (up to 10 Gbps). There is an integrated Wi-Fi 6 module (up to 2.4 Gbps) with Bluetooth 5.1 support. Adapted for convenient work on an open bench (for benchmarking sessions).
