The top model of the 2021 Asus Republic Of Gamers overclocker family of motherboards with an LGA1200 socket and the flagship Intel Z590 chipset. Designed for overclocking enthusiasts and hardcore gamers who prefer to maximize performance by fine-tuning key system components. Designed to build premium gaming PCs. Fully compatible with 2/4/6/8/10-core 10th and 11th generation Intel Core i9/i7/i5/i3/Pentium/Celeron processors (Comet Lake and Rocket Lake, 14nm).
Equipped with a heavy-duty 16-phase processor power subsystem (CPU VRM) with large aluminium heatsinks. Supports a full range of basic and advanced overclocking features. The Asus ROG MAXIMUS XIII HERO motherboard is able to provide completely stable and long-term operation of overclocked K-series processors. Supports up to four DDR4 memory modules with a total capacity of up to 128 GB, equipped with four M.2 ports for high-performance NVMe SSDs. For high-quality sound output, an 8-channel Realtek ALC4082 audio subsystem with a Wi-Fi-class ES9018 DAC and an improved analogue path (op-amp TI OPA2836) is used. Thanks to the output of buttons (FlexKey, Reset, ReTry and Start) on the textolite, as well as the POST code indicator, the board is well suited for use on an open bench, including for benchmarking sessions.
