Vertical thrust

— an exercise in pulling up a crossbar connected by a cable with a weight system from top to bottom; while the athlete sits upright. Vertical pulling gives you more choice of load than regular pull-ups on the bar; and specific options for the muscles being worked out are quite diverse. However, the equipment for vertical traction is cumbersome, it is more suitable for full-size strength machines and is extremely rare in benches / racks.
