The main advantages of this series include high cooling efficiency, quiet operation and reasonable price. However, some users may notice limited backlight customization options compared to more expensive models. However, in some cases, the manufacturer can offer full ARGB lighting with support for programs such as Aura, Mystic Light, Polychrome and others.
All ID-COOLING WF/XF series fans have standard case frames, which makes them compatible with most modern cases, tower coolers and air cooling systems. For cooling, 7- or 9-blade impellers are used, providing high efficiency at various rotation speeds (typically from 700 to 1600 rpm). In most cases, fans are equipped with hydrodynamic bearings, which are characterized by quiet operation and extended service life.
As for the model range, traditionally for the brand, models are divided by size. Classic 120mm fans are more often used in standard-sized cases and can be installed in more positions due to their versatility. More powerful and massive 140 mm models are better suited for larger cases with high-quality airflow. Considering the growing popularity of white components, the manufacturer has produced several snow-white modifications of already released coolers. For convenience, some turntables are sold as sets of three fans, as well as an optional controller for controlling the backlight.
