The sixth generation of premium Surface Pro 6 devices includes ultralight and powerful hybrid tablets that can adapt to the needs of the user. In normal mode, this is a classic tablet, but add a proprietary stylus to it - and you get a high-end graphics tablet. Or attach a branded keyboard case to it - and Surface Pro 6 will turn into an analogue of a laptop.

Microsoft tablets have established designs, and the sixth generation is no exception. The devices of this series boast stylish cases with smooth and rounded edges and graceful grilles on the ventilation holes. The case itself is made of magnesium alloy with a barely noticeable coating of painted oxidized ceramics, which on the one hand looks very, very presentable, and on the other hand turned out to be quite practical, as it practically does not collect fingerprints.

The display diagonal of the Pro 6 is the usual 12.3" with a resolution of 2736x1824 and a pixel density of 267 PPI. With support for the signature Surface Pen stylus and the ability to simultaneously recognize 4096 levels of pressure with tilt angles, Surface Pro 6 displays are incredibly comfortable to draw on. An added convenience bonus is the quick switch between graphics profiles. Users can choose from two colour profiles: basic and contrast. "Normal" mode can be used for daily use of the device, while "sRGB-profile" is better suited for photo processing and graphics.

The 2018 Surface Pro 6 may not look all that great amid the latest updates to the Surface lineup. However, from our point of view, older Surface models are not that outdated and will be a great option for those users who want to save money, but at the same time buy a great device. The sixth generation is cheaper than the "seven", which is justified by a more modest hardware platform, the lack of USB-C and Wi-Fi 6.
