— this generation was officially presented in August 2014 (although the first developments "in hardware" were released back in late 2013). The operating speed, compared to the previous edition of LPDDR3, has doubled (up to 3200 MT/s - megatransactions per second), the frequency has increased from 933 MHz to 1600 MHz, and the power consumption has decreased by 40%. In addition, the data transfer format has changed - in particular, instead of one 32-bit bus, two 16-bit ones are used, and some security improvements have been introduced into the standard.
