The Surface X is Microsoft's first "tabletbook" since 2013 to be based on Microsoft's own ARM SQ1 processor. The chip came out, albeit dual-core, but powerful enough (developed by Qualcomm specialists), so Surface Pro X is positioned as a premium device that can replace a computer or a performant work laptop with a few conventions. The signature features of the Surface series have not gone anywhere in the form of a docking station with a keyboard and a branded stylus.
