The Surface X is Microsoft's first "tabletbook" since 2013 to be based on Microsoft's own ARM SQ1 processor. The chip came out, albeit dual-core, but powerful enough (developed by Qualcomm specialists), so Surface Pro X is positioned as a premium device that can replace a computer or a performant work laptop with a few conventions. This is also facilitated by 8 GB of RAM and a 128 GB removable SSD.
The tablet also has two USB-C ports on board, supports fast charging and LTE technology. The use of an ARM chip made it possible to increase the operating time on a single charge up to 13 hours. The signature features of the Surface series have not gone anywhere in the form of a docking station with a keyboard and a branded stylus. Combine this with a thin and light anodized aluminium chassis and you have a versatile device that can be used for Office 360, graphics programs a la Photoshop or Cubase-caliber virtual studios.
