The Microsoft Surface Pro 8 is the pinnacle of the evolution of Microsoft's Windows tablets, which, given the performance of the filling, would be more properly called a full-fledged computer. To switch your Surface Pro to laptop mode, open the built-in kickstand and attach the Type Cover with built-in keyboard. When portability is required, Surface Pro 8 can be used as a very powerful premium tablet with stylus support. The device was created to compete with the iPad Pro, so its coolness can be traced literally in every little thing: from the design of the back panel and the quality of the display to the design of the peripherals and additional equipment.

In the eighth generation, Microsoft added fast 65-watt charging, USB-C ports with Thunderbolt support, and increased the resolution of the main camera. Thanks to the reduced side frames, the display diagonal has grown from 12.3 to 13 inches (resolution 2880 x 1920 pixels). The refresh rate of the display has also increased: it was 60 Hz, it became 120 Hz. Naturally, the tablet has become more powerful due to the use of next-generation Intel processors. In particular, Microsoft claims that the Surface Pro 8 is actually twice as fast as the Surface Pro 7. Otherwise, this is the same premium convertible with a high-end metal body, modern communication modules, a 6200 mAh battery, additional tools for protecting user data, two cameras and support for corporate stylus.

In the eighth generation, Microsoft traditionally released a bunch of Surface Pro variations with different memory configurations. The younger version is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and a 128 GB SSD drive. While the oldest version of the tablet is equipped with 16 GB of RAM and a 1024 GB solid state drive. At the request of workers, Microsoft has finally added the ability to independently replace the drive with a more capacious and faster option. But the RAM chips are soldered on the motherboard, so, alas, it is impossible to throw an additional bar. Surface Pro 8 consumer models are equipped with Core i5-1135G7 or Core i7-1185G7 processors, while business versions have the option of a low-powered Core i3-1115G4.
