Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac)
— the successor to Wi-Fi 4, which finally moved to the 5 GHz band, which had a positive effect on the reliability of the connection and data transfer rate: it is up to 1.69 Gbps per antenna and up to 6.77 Gbps in general. In addition, this is the first version in which the Beamforming technology was fully implemented (for more details, see "Software Features").Note that equipment of this standard may not have a 2.4 GHz transmitter and may not support earlier versions of Wi-Fi. So if you need such a similar compatibility, you should additionally use the “Frequency range” list by selecting models for at least two ranges.
