Wi-Fi 3 routers (g)
Wi-Fi 3 (802.11g)
— one of the outdated standards. It was widely used before Wi-Fi 4 appeared, nowadays it is used mainly as an addition to newer versions – in particular, in order to ensure compatibility with outdated and low-cost equipment. Operates at a frequency of 2.4 GHz, the maximum data exchange rate is 54 Mbps. Also note that most often this version is supplemented by an even earlier standard – Wi-Fi 1 (802.11b) – as well, to ensure compatibility.clear | Save List |
