The Asus ROG Fusion series offers over-ear headphones for gamers who value the balance between sound quality, comfort and flexibility. In terms of hardware and positioning, Fusion is very similar to the Delta and Theta models. In all cases, complex ASUS Essence emitters are used, which are complemented by a built-in ESS Saber DAC with support for Quad-DAC technology. True, the sound processing system is still a little simpler than in ROG Theta headsets, so the average weight of the Fusion model is around 300 grams. For comparison, ROG Theta weighs more than half a kilo. The speakers completely cover your ears, creating the first barrier from external sounds.

Unlike ROG Delta headsets, in which the hardware is responsible for virtualizing multi-channel audio, in the Fusion series this issue is handled by proprietary software. Another important difference from their fellow ROG Strix series is support for almost all current types of wired connections (3.5 mm, USB A, USB C), thanks to which Fusion headsets instantly connect to all popular desktop and portable consoles, including Nintendo Switch, Sony PS5 and Xbox Series X. For complete happiness, all you need is a Bluetooth connection to connect them to your smartphone or iPad while you replay Divinity Original Sin 2.

The Fusion's design is fundamentally different from the ROG Delta and Theta models. The body is made of practical, non-staining plastic, there are almost no glossy inserts, the headband material is made of fabric, the headband is adjustable by just a few centimeters, and both speaker cups rotate sideways by 90 degrees. Based on this approach, it seems that Asus expected that the headset would be constantly put on and taken off, so they approached the case and materials as practically as possible. For additional convenience, the headphones usually come with 2 sets of ear pads - made of leatherette and fabric.
