Headphones Defender series Warhead (gaming)
Defender Warhead Series
The Warhead line includes entry-level gaming headsets with a classic "gamer" design, a memorable name and extremely democratic price tags. Most Warhead models can be bought for a modest $ 8-10, and for the most advanced version you will have to pay less than $ 20.
Like all the brand's products, Warhead models are aimed at amateur gamers who periodically arrange skating rinks with friends in COD, Titanfall or Dota and need a means of communication, but do not see the point of splurging on an expensive headset from A-brand.
The basis of the Warhead series consists of low-cost overhead gaming headphones of a closed type with a microphone on the shackle and cable connection. They are connected to the computer via USB or audio output and, usually, are equipped with a simple LED backlight.
Most of the representatives of the series tend to the so-called "gamer" design with an abundance of red, decorative inserts and all sorts of decorations. However, there are also more restrained options ― for example, Warhead G-160 and Warhead G-110, which would look quite appropriate on the head of a call centre operator.
Warhead models, usually, produce loud, moderately high-quality sound and quite well cope with the positioning and detailing of the sound in games. They can also play music, but, like all headsets, they are dominated by low frequencies (to bang loudly), so it's clearly not worth counting on a good sound here.
