One earphone

— headphones that have only one cup and work only in one ear.

Nowadays, there are three types of such models on the market. The first is devices with microphones, which are actually wired headsets and are intended for use in contact centers, help desks and other similar areas of activity. The second is devices in the form of a single traditional earphone without a microphone; they are mainly used for professional audio work in TV centers, recording studios, concerts and theatrical performances, etc. The third are true wireless models (see "Connection"), sold singly, to replace a lost earphone from the original pair .
