Server hard drives
Server
— hard drives used in servers operate under increased load, as they almost constantly send and receive large volumes of information. To ensure performance, they are designed with increased rotational speed (up to 15,000 RPM); additionally, such drives have higher reliability and mean time between failures. These disks are made only as internal (see "Form Factor"), and besides SATA, they can use other, more specific connection methods — for example, SAS (see "Connection Interfaces").server drives | clear | Save List |
