— aluminium-based alloys have several advantages, the main of which are low weight and quite decent strength characteristics. This allows the use of this material in various types of bicycles. On the other hand, aluminium is quite rigid, due to which it does not handle vibrations very well and experiences increased wear at the same time; for such frames, it is desirable to have a shock absorption system. And it is more difficult to repair than steel.
