In the segment of relatively inexpensive electric city bikes, the DYU C6 model seems noteworthy. Both men and the fair sex will be comfortable behind the wheel.
Electric traction
The bike has an open geometry aluminium frame and sits on 26-inch diameter wheels. An electric drive with a power of 350 W is connected to the rear axle of the bike. The electric motor is powered by a 12.5 Ah battery, which is placed parallel to the seat tube. If necessary, the battery can be easily removed from the slot for easy charging.
Riding modes
When traveling purely on electric power without pedaling, the city bike has a range of approximately 40 km. In the pedal assist mode, the distance increases to 50 – 70 km - it’s difficult to say more specifically, because in practice the actual mileage depends on the weight of the rider, the terrain and riding style. The bicycle can accelerate to a speed of 25 km/h.
Extended equipment
DYU C6 has a 7-speed transmission from Shimano, mechanical disc brakes on both wheels and, importantly, a front suspension fork. Additional assets of the model include a wide range of standard bicycle accessories - from full-size fenders on wheels to standard lighting equipment. And for the convenience of shopping trips, the city bike was equipped with a basket on the handlebars.
