A solid middle player from the realm of gaming monitors, targeted at the eSports audience. The model features a fast IPS panel with a response time of 1ms and a refresh rate of 144Hz. Thanks to AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible technologies, the monitor's display refresh rate dynamically adjusts to match the frame rate of the video signal source.
As a result, it ensures a smooth rendering of dynamic scenes in games and eliminates screen tearing. An additional plus for the model is its wide color gamut—about 128% of the sRGB triangle and 95% of the DCI-P3 space. Accurate color reproduction enhances the realism of immersing into virtual gaming battles. For specific game types, the MSI Optix G242 provides pre-installed gaming modes, and the model includes an option to improve the visibility of dark scenes (Night Vision). To reduce eye strain during extended gaming sessions, the monitor decreases the intensity of blue light from the spectral palette. The model's safety for the visual system is backed by certification from the renowned TÜV Rheinland agency. The monitor's stand allows for adjustments in screen height and tilt angles.
