A solid mid-ranger from the guard of gaming monitors, addressed to the esports audience. The model has a fast IPS-matrix with a response time of 1 ms and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. With AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible technologies, the monitor's display refresh rate dynamically adjusts to match the frame rate of the video source output. As a result, smooth rendering of dynamic scenes in games is ensured and image tearing is eliminated.
The model receives an additional plus in karma for a wide colour gamut - about 128% of the sRGB "triangle" and 95% of the DCI-P3 space. Accurate colour reproduction enhances the realism of immersive virtual game battles. For certain types of games, the MSI Optix G242 provides pre-installed gaming modes, and the model also has an option to improve the visibility of dark scenes (Night Vision). To reduce eye fatigue during long gaming sessions, the monitor reduces the intensity of the glow of the blue component of the spectral palette. The safety of the model for the visual apparatus is supported by a certificate from the eminent agency TÜV Rheinland. The monitor support leg allows adjustment of the screen positions in height and tilt angles.
