One-Stop Solution
The gaming monitor from Gigabyte can be attributed to the middle price segment. The model with a 24-inch thin bezel display is suitable for various applications, which confirms, for example, a very discreet design. There are no bright colored inserts, yes, and the body finish is mostly matte.
The versatility of the Gigabyte G24F is enhanced by high-quality color reproduction and extended color gamut (covers 120% of the sRGB space and 90% of the professional DCI P3 model). Accordingly, the monitor is suitable even for creating amateur videos, processing family photos, etc.
Rich set of gaming chips
The model is based on an 8-bit IPS-matrix with wide viewing angles. The screen is characterized by a moderate static contrast (1000:1) (with a high dynamic - 12 million to one) and a decent level of brightness (300 cd / m²). The latter should be enough to combat glare in any room lighting.
The gaming status is supported by an excellent frame rate (165 Hz), fast response (1ms (MPRT) / 2ms (GTG)) and a large set of additional features. For flexible configuration of gaming (and not only) parameters, the OSD Sidekick OSD menu is proposed, where you can activate options such as a timer, FPS counter, highlighting dark areas, sight, information panel (Dashboard), etc.
Nice Chips
For ergonomics, not only the tilt function of the stand is responsible, but also the height adjustment in the range of 13 cm. Surely, both in the office and at home, a USB 3.0 hub with a fast charging function for gadgets is useful. And the lack of backlight flicker and model certification from TÜV Rheinland confirms minimal eye fatigue during long sessions at the computer.
The shortcomings of the model include rather large legs, but otherwise the Gigabyte G24F, as they say, is “top for the money”.
