It features a 10-bit QD-OLED panel delivering excellent static contrast, wide viewing angles, and vibrant images with high-quality color reproduction.
The MSI MPG 491CQP QD-OLED monitor is known for its impressive color coverage with 146% sRGB, 99% DCI-P3, and 98% Adobe RGB space coverage. The image can also be quite bright during HDR playback, confirming its compliance with DisplayHDR True Black 400 standards, and it is comfortable for the eyes (TÜV Rheinland certification achieved).
Gaming features of the model include an increased refresh rate of 144 Hz, instant response (0.03 ms from grey to grey), and support for professional options, such as crosshair display, timer, FPS counter, etc. Special mention goes to improved heat dissipation due to the use of a heatsink and graphene film, as well as the implementation of OLED Care 2.0 protective functions preventing panel burn-in. I've been using it for a week, and I'm full of emotions. I really like this monitor, won't go into technical details, but I like the picture. I got it not for gaming but for work - I have to open many Excel sheets at the same time and work with them simultaneously. Before this, I was working with two separate monitors - the monitor frame's division didn't allow you to move a window "just a little": you're either on the right or on the left monitor. I use it with a MacBook, there's a setup guide on YouTube for Mac (issue with font clarity), search for "how to enable hiDPI on ultrawide". Why didn't I buy this sooner... review dated March 24, 2026. OLED
Ultra wide screen brightness design USB-C video input no built-in speakers (sorry about this point....I'm not a gamer and simple 5-watt stereo would be enough for watching and background soft music, but for now I'm using Bluetooth JBL.
