Debuting for 2023 in the MSI brand's Optix line, it is a high-end 32-inch 4K gaming monitor. The model is notable for its stylish design, where the main features are not only the ergonomic stand (adjustable in height and rotation), but also the proprietary Mystic Light Sync synchronized lighting, which creates a special atmosphere for gamers. High picture quality here is ensured primarily by a 10-bit matrix with a QLED filter.
The MSI Optix MPG321UR-QD monitor has excellent color reproduction, which is confirmed by covering 143% of the sRGB space, 99% of Adobe RGB and 97% of DCI P3. The brightness of the image deserves only flattering words, because it can reach high values of 600 nits, and the tangible wow effect from HDR content confirms compliance with the DisplayHDR 600 standard. Separately, it is worth mentioning the clarity, because the resolution of 3840x2160 pixels, even on a fairly large diagonal, provides excellent detail with a pixel size of 0.18 mm.
Especially for players, not only high “Hz” (144 Hz) and fast response are offered, but also support for NVIDIA G-Sync and a number of profile functions, including crosshairs, FPS output on the screen and Night Vision highlighting mode. Separately, it is worth mentioning the presence of a USB hub with 6 ports, as well as the most current video interfaces, including USB type C (DisplayPort Alt Mode) and HDMI v 2.1. The latter, for example, will provide 4K + 120Hz bandwidth when connected to PS5.
