The model of the 2018 model year, based on the most functional Intel Z370 chipset, supports the entire range of eighth generation Core i7/i5/i3/Pentium/Celeron processors with Coffee Lake microarchitecture. It is positioned as a product of the highest price category, designed for assembling performant gaming configurations.
Thanks to a large package of overclocking features, it is of interest to enthusiasts who prefer to operate their PC in non-standard modes of increased performance. It has a developed system of heatsinks for cooling the chipset and fuel elements for CPU power subsystem. The Asus Strix Z370-G Gaming Motherboard (Wi-Fi AC) is equipped with a built-in high-performance 802.11ac Wi-Fi module that supports MU-MIMO technology and simultaneous operation in two frequency bands (total data transfer rate up to 1.3 Gbps ).
The GbE controller Intel I219V is responsible for quick access to the resources of the local cable network. Thanks to the presence of 4 slots for installing DDR4-2666/2400/2133 modules (up to 4000 MHz with overclocking), it is possible to create configurations with 64 GB of memory. Two PCIe Gen3 x16 slots allow you to create multiGPU systems using 2-Way Nvidia SLI or 2-Way AMD CrossFireX technologies. The disk subsystem can include up to two high-performance NVMe SSD drives, as well as 6 SATA3 ports and 14 USB ports (including 2xUSB 3.1 Gen2).
