A full-fledged dual-band Wi-Fi signal amplifier (repeater) class AC1200. Designed to eliminate "dead zones" and significantly expand the coverage of wireless networks at speeds up to 1200 Mbps. The manufacturer is positioned as a model of the middle price category with extended functionality. The amplifier connects to an existing Wi-Fi router (via a wireless channel) and improves coverage conditions in places where the router's signal strength is not enough.
It also reduces interference, which further facilitates the work of client devices. It is intended for use in the conditions of the house or small office. The TP-LINK RE305 dual-band Wi-Fi signal booster provides high speed data transfer in both bands. When using the traditional carrier frequency of 2.4 GHz (802.11b/g/n standard), the connection throughput can reach 300 Mbps, and in the 5 GHz band, communication at speeds up to 867 Mbps is possible.
This is enough for viewing and streaming high-quality streaming FullHD and UltraHD (4K) video, online games, the work of file-sharing network clients, quick interaction with cloud services, transferring large files and other tasks that require significant amounts of data transmission and reception. In addition, when connecting a Fast Ethernet cable network, the repeater turns into a Wi-Fi access point. All current security standards and strong traffic encryption are supported.
