ATX motherboard for AMD processors with Socket AM4. Part of the mid-range motherboard lineup from 2018, built on the AMD B450 chipset. Provides full support for the entire range of Ryzen 3/5/7 processors (including Pro models) of the first and second generation (Summit Ridge, Pinnacle Ridge cores), Ryzen processors with integrated Radeon Vega graphics (Raven Ridge), and some Athlon 200GE CPU models.

Equipped with a 9-phase digital power delivery system (Digi Power), allowing for the use of powerful 8-core CPUs with a TDP of up to 105W. Thanks to its overclocking functions and heat sinks for mosfet components, it can be used for moderate CPU and RAM overclocking (without increasing supply voltage). The ASRock B450 Pro4 motherboard is designed for building mid-level home/office configurations, as well as budget gaming stations.

It has 4 slots for DDR4-2933/2666/2400/2133 memory modules with a total maximum capacity of up to 64 GB. Equipped with two high-speed M.2 interface connectors for connecting NVMe SSD drives. Standard SSD/HDD drives connect to four SATA3 ports. Networking is handled by the Realtek RTL8111H Gigabit Ethernet controller. Audio processing and output are managed by the 7.1-channel HDA codec Realtek ALC892. There are 14 USB ports provided, including: 2xUSB 3.1 Gen2 (up to 10 Gb/s, Type A+C) and 6xUSB 3.1 Gen1 (up to 5 Gb/s).

How to choose a motherboard?Motherboard is the main part of any computer. Here's how to choose the right one for work, play and entertainment
Model overview based on user reviews
The ASRock B450 Pro4 motherboard is praised for its affordable price and functionality, making it a solid choice for both gaming and work. Users appreciate its good overclocking capabilities for the Ryzen 1000 and 2000 series, although some note that it may not be the best for extreme overclocking, suggesting an upgrade to the X470/570 chipset for more demanding needs. The board features good radiators, M.2 slots, and a convenient BIOS, although there are minor issues like BIOS translation and a non-working M.2 NVMe slot. The motherboard is reliable and offers a rational arrangement of elements, with users highlighting its upgrade potential and appealing design. Some users experienced issues with USB sensitivity, but overall, it is recommended for those seeking a cost-effective and reliable motherboard.

An excellent board for further upgrades, everything came together and started up without any problems
Price, upgrade, appearance, with a transparent side wall it looks super, I don’t think it’s necessary to overpay for whistles ;)
I don’t understand, sometimes the sensitivity on the mouse starts to decrease from the rear USB, it helps to pull it out and put it back in, I’ll try to move it to another USB, maybe it will help
use ASRock B450 Pro4 less than month
An excellent solution for playing and working with a high-quality element base.

I have Micron Ballistix memory on it, overclocked to 3.2 GHz, a Ryzen 2600 processor, autoboot up to 3.8 GHz with disabled EMProtection in the BIOS, by the way, thanks to its disabling, the bus holds exactly 100 MHz. Sometimes people write about very hot radiators on the power circuits, but I don’t understand how you can get to that point. If you take good care of cooling inside the case, without spending all your money on a top-end graphics card or similar, there won’t be any problems. I have a DeepCool Lucifer K2 cooler on the processor (a huge beast, but you can’t think of anything better) and 5 fans in the case. So, when overclocking the CPU to 3.9 GHz and passing the OCCT stress test for 15 minutes, I touched the radiators with my finger and they were cool. I’m a little sad about the absence of LLC for higher quality overclocking, but the motherboard in full automatic mode with good cooling delivers impressive results, the processor doesn’t stress much in any game. Fans of extreme phallometric overclocking should immediately look at the X470/570 chipset. By the way, it’s cool to have RGB controllers for the CPU cooler and separately for the strip, controlled from the BIOS. I haven’t used it because there is no window in the case. I generally like the boards from this manufacturer. They save on advertising (maybe that’s why they’re not particularly favored by various YouTube reviewers and glamorous PC builders), and instead make quality products with a rational arrangement of elements on the board.

if you want to drive more CPU, buy x470, but on this board it’s problematic
good radiators, availability of M2 slots, ease of implementation
not the best motherboard for overclocking, Ryzen 5 1600 at 3.9 Hz is not stable, and the board gets hot
use ASRock B450 Pro4 few months
