With their help, you can check the operability of the outlet, detect the break point of the laid wiring or the place where the wire is broken. The voltage is determined by the tester at a distance of several centimeters, which prevents electric shock and other unpleasant consequences. Voltage metres work, usually, from two “little finger” batteries (AAA type).
