Multimeters with voltage measurement

Voltage

— one of the basic electrical parameters. The ability to measure voltage is found in almost all types of measuring instruments (except perhaps oscilloscopes), and for multimeters (see "Device") it is almost mandatory, among such models there are rarely solutions without a voltmeter function. The measurement is carried out by contact, using probes, while the device is connected in parallel to the element or section of the circuit being checked.

Note that measurements of AC and DC voltage require different operating modes. However, almost all models with a voltmeter function support alternating voltage, but the ability to work with constant voltage needs to be specified separately.
