The measurement is carried out by contact, using probes, while the device is connected in parallel to the element or section of the circuit being checked.Note that measurements of AC and DC voltage require different operating modes. However, almost all models with a voltmeter function support alternating voltage, but the ability to work with constant voltage needs to be specified separately.
