Cookers Smeg series Classic
Smeg Classic
The Smeg Classic series of freestanding cookers occupies the top price segment and is one of the widest and most recognizable professional ranges of the Italian brand. It is the first series of cookers developed by Smeg in collaboration with architect Guido Canali, embodying the principle the brand has adhered to since its inception: professional-grade technological solutions in a design worthy of a home kitchen. The range is available in formats from 60 to 150 cm and is aimed at demanding home cooks and professionals who are unwilling to compromise on either performance or aesthetics.
All models in the series are equipped with multifunctional electric ovens with an Opera thermoventilation (convection) system: the patented technology maintains the optimal humidity-temperature balance inside the chamber. The internal cavity is coated with the branded Ever Clean enamel: a smooth glass-like coating that is resistant to high temperatures, does not absorb odors and fats, and can be cleaned using the Vapour Clean function — with steam without chemicals. Higher-end models come with pyrolytic cleaning. The oven capacity ranges from 78 to 126 liters depending on the format. Chamber lighting, multi-level stainless steel guides, and soft-closing doors with a closer are standard for the entire range. The cooktops include gas, induction, and mixed options.
The series includes three design collections. Opera is the flagship and most classic collection with a monolithic body made of brushed stainless steel, available in the widest range of formats: from 90 to 150 cm. Models at 90 cm offer one or two ovens, at 120 and 150 cm — two and three ovens respectively, making them a choice for serious home cooking or small restaurant kitchens. Symphony is a collection in the 90 cm format with two ovens, more affordable than Opera while offering the same basic technology. Concert is the most compact collection in the 60 and 70 cm formats with one oven, aimed at those who prioritize Pro-grade technology and materials in limited spaces.
