Induction burners use an alternating magnetic field to create eddy currents in the bottom of the cookware, which provides heating. Thanks to this, such heaters are as safe as possible — they do not heat up by themselves. Another advantage lies in the instantaneous response to changes in power settings in this induction burners are not inferior to gas ones. They are relatively expensive, but this moment is often invisible against the background of the total cost of the stove. The unambiguous disadvantage of this option is the specific requirements for the cookware: it must have a thick metal bottom, and ideally, it should be designed to work with induction. However, a lot of modern pots are made with this calculation.
